Young People's Healthy Hub, Stevenage

The Young People’s Healthy Hub offers free information, advice and support to help you stay healthy and well. Available for children and young people aged 11-16, pop in for a chat with our staff and explore what we have to offer.

Through the hub you can get help to:

  • manage your fitness
  • receive mental health support
  • become more active
  • get healthy eating advice
  • join community groups and activities
  • get support as a young carer
  • access wellbeing services.

 
We work with a range of professionals who can help you get the right service for your needs.

Parking

As we're based at Marriotts Sports Centre, there's plenty of free parking onsite. However, the car park does become very busy at peak times.

Healthy Hub Stevenage is a one stop shop providing information, advice and support to improve the health and wellbeing of our community.

A team of professionals is on hand to help you every step of the way.

We provide lifestyle support for you and your family, including:

  • mental health
  • physical activity
  • weight management
  • breastfeeding and parenting skills
  • coping with cancer
  • carers support
  • help to stop smoking.

We want you to know that you are not alone. We can link you to services and support teams across Stevenage, some of whom meet regularly at the Healthy Hub. If you need someone to talk to, we will provide confidential one-to-one meetings within the Healthy Hub.

If you would like to be more active and you don’t know what to do or you have a medical problem which restricts you, come and speak to our team who will point you in the right direction and find the best activity for you.

We will give you nutrition advice and recipe ideas to help re-educate you on eating habits and reduce your risk of developing chronic medical conditions.
